it's because subconsciously people know that goddesses are below gods. so calling yourself a god is more grandiose (and unacceptable) than calling yourself a goddess. men do not need to openly and explicitly inflate/state their worth/power. women do ????????????????????????????

I've met more women than men who have felt the need to explicitly state, apropos-of-nothing-I've-sensed, that they are, specifically, "self-actualized" "more" in part because I have never heard a man say this. but some women have said it goddesses patting themselves on the back

there is a thing where women feel powerless and cheer each other on about claiming power; hence goddess, witches, bitches, etc. meanwhile women also feel like men have too much power and want to see them humble imo this would be better replaced by explicit trauma processing
