Is there a decent compromise solution to pregnancy discrimination? Banning it is obviously bad for non-pregnant women, and not banning it is obviously bad for pregnant women. What's the clever third path?

not banning it may also be bad for (some) pregnant women, see what's his names analysis of the effects of the ADA on employment of disabled populations

just really hard to effect antidiscrimination through laws unfortunately might be easier to acknowledge that discrimination will just happen and ameliorate with transfers but no one likes to pay for things which is why we get mandates in the first place idk
