Brutalism, in an architectural context, is elective. There are multipoint inputs in design before a building is constructed, all of which are chosen. To that extent, killdozer was not brutalist. It was a thing of pure, liberated, beauty, & the government forced that man’s hand.

Brutalism is a tool. If architects want to make our cities into miserable and oppressive hellscapes, then they are effectively using this tool. I think the meaning of the killdozer is much more in line with the purpose of brutalism
