hmm many Diversity and Inclusion efforts probably would have made [more sense than they do now however much you think that is] in a world where such local community networks were more important for Advancement

@selentelechia has observed that this has also been very bad for small geographies as a whole in that the most capable people are able to get credentialed and move out instead of staying and becoming local Pillars of the Community sort of higher efficiency in fish/pond sortingShow this thread -

anyway lots of wins fell out of this too, I am definitely a beneficiary myself but probably these local communities were load-bearing and we havent come up with any substitutes plane is taking off so uh /end
