Cat has a small wound on rear. Won't let me look at it. It's not big and he seems okay but I need to get him to the vet tomorrow. Unfortunately, my carrier won't be delivered until Thursday. Need to figure out how to transport him. Anyone have an idea on how to do that?

Right now, he won't stay inside so yes. He just stands by the door and cries. Doesn't care about toys and started not eating until I moved the food onto the porch.

He's a smart cat.
He is constantly licking it. I have some gauze, Neosporin, and a wrap but since we are still new to one another it's a rough go of it.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Oof. Does your vet have a mobile service? Could do cardboard box with holes + blanket and/or towels inside as a last resort

No mobile service that I could find from any nearby vets. My vet isn't too far from me. A 7 minute car ride at most so that helps. He's never been in a car though. Nor contained. This'll be his first trip to the vet and in a car.

Yeah, I just didn't want to buy a second one as I'd ordered a good one online. I have a mesh sports bag that'll do the trick I think. Just need to put some cardboard on the bottom for stability and should be good. It's a short drive too.

Def put a blanket or a towel over the cardboard too. Cats need something to get purchase in a car.

Will do. I've a fleece blanket small enough to fit in there with him.
