"you are behaving inappropriately" is something I try to remember to say in heated moments it can backfire, but in such cases, the backfiring isn't any worse than going along with the original course of stupidity

#rude from time to time; kept things civil so far -
I like it because it has a mild humor to it, is non specific and allows the other person know you'll got back to 'tit' if they will too. Works on people discussing in good faith. *tit as in tit-for-tat strategy
