"shirts fit for people twice their size" This was the norm in 1980s and 1990s for dress shirts. American shirt cuts used to be almost 'square' (just as wide at hips as shoulders) during 90s. They'd blouse out at hips over belt. Slim-fit shirt wasnt a thing until mid 2000s
