it's also not true. Dunno how it works elsewhere but in Wisconsin you also accrue points for every speeding violation and those will quickly result in loss of license

should do the thing they do in Finland or whatever where the fine you pay is proportional to ur income - rich ppl pay huge fines, poorer ppl small ones
