There is an aspect of Christian rightism that treats sex not only as sacred but also the *most* sacred thing, which leftists ruthlessly exploit for pearl clutching effect. Hilariously however this seems to be inverting with the new wave of millennial feminists.

agree with sentiment and your implied concern I think I would frame my own concerns for rightists in (1) as "certain rightists are wrong in thinking that sex is perfectly sacred" unable to elucidate properly, but sex is not always evil, nor always sacred, nor always mundane
