Statistically detectable is necessarily in relation to experimental power, it's not a particularly useful guide to safety thresholds. And linearity is a pretty reasonable assumption here.

I might bet its more exponential (in some people) or just local to zero (in others) based on cancer hmm probably emphysema might be another issue but im nowhere near that kind of lifetime consumption maybe 60-70 cigarettes ever
