maybe this is a super fucked up opinion but even if those stories are 100% true i think they are worth no mass shootings since 1996 (introduction of strict gun control in australia)

idk if the rest of u saw but there was a mass stabbing in sydney yesterday/today (depending on r time zone). a guy w/ some pretty severe mental health problems ran loose in be city and stabbed several people.

there’s a good chance they’d all be dead, milk crate and all. my hometown would have been the site of a mass shooting. my mother would have felt unsafe.

i cannot emphasises this enough: laws that stop or make it harder for people like blair cottrell to get and use guns are absolutely worth the any price you might pay in lost civil liberties. they are, in fact, priceless.
