this is kind of interesting--possibly compare @SamoBurja on using bureaucracies
Fwiw in fact there are many companies where "go figure out how to make money for us and don't fuck it up" is more or less the whole of the law https://blog.usejournal.com/how-to-use-bureaucracies-97e980550070 …https://twitter.com/jprwg/status/1159761021856358400 …

They tend to hire pretty selectively Wonder if you can make a comparison to morals Thelemic morals vs bureaucratic morals Let's call it a class thing I bet this holds water How is your class reflected in _your_ moral code?

My parents despair at my mammonism while being proud of the outcomes.

costly countery signalling to abjure money and then STILL BE SO GOOD AT EVERYTHING that you fall backwards into piles of cash compared to that, striving and earning is ... kinda pedestrian

Parents are good lower-professional-class. Mom's mom was a nurse, my dad did accounting and business law but not big law etc. My monomania disturbs them.

No? I'm not beholden to my parents culture as a whole. In some ways I'm a reversion to the mean of further back paternal family.
