very tired and demoralized at work so heres something ive been thinking about an interesting thing that may have happened in the 20th century is that deliberately or not people got really good at wrecking norms

Hmm... I would suggest that, just as the left eventually elevated the principle of norm-breaking to a core in-group value, we are now seeing the right building their self-identity around the aesthetic of upholding norms, much moreso than the content of the actual norms themselves
