well hold on, awesome references BUT when we're talking about creativity i mean 'doing creativity' not so much some 'o shit' moment where you connect the dots - i assume thats familar to most people i.e. in murder mysteries, solving a puzzle etc

I think it's maybe some combination of (i) which patterns you're familiar with and how much (ii) maybe some parameters describing how you wobble through those patterns
