Can you think of any movie that is better than the book? Somebody asked me, and I can't think of a single film that is better than the original work. Not even close.

A Clockwork orange. It omits needless scenes, including the self righteous final chapter that was the author speaking, quite naively that being a psycho is just a phase kids grow out of. No. He'd always be a horrible person.

It's not really an 'opinion'. It's an empirical fact. People with Antisocial Personality Disorder are notoriously resistant to rehabilitation efforts.
