Earthquake Update: Normalcy returns. A friend from church who is a retired civil engineer inspected the house and gave a thumbs up. Wife and baby return tomorrow (boys staying at grandparents as prev planned). Still got woken up at 6:10 by an aftershock.

I’ll be hosting the bi-weekly game night tomorrow, as usual host’s house is extremely structurally unsound.

I can pass on what the friend told me yesterday: look for broken masonry, walls out of plumb, cracks in walls that are opening (not hairline), or cracks running diagonally across large walls. Also check that you didn’t shift on the foundation. If none of those, it’s probably ok.
