So do you think the songs about women with huge feet from the 19th century were cruel/misogynistic or were guys back then just like "yeah. I like huge feet on a woman" see "Oh My Darling Clementine", "Buffalo Gals", etc

I do not recall feet in either of those songs. I did grow up thinking "Oh My Darling Clementine" was terribly tragic and was a teenager before I realized it was meant to be funny.
