Not quite. Lots of stuff doesn’t need testing. An ethical claim like “it would be best everyone but me commit suicide” is testable...but doesn’t need testing. Not only doesn’t need: the test itself would be wrong. But why? Not because that claim is itself testable.

Lots of “philosophy ethics sucks” because it just ignores reality. Like: trolley problems/utility puzzles. It’s like: ignore the rest of reality and put an impenetrable adiabatic wall around this thought experiment. Now apply the conclusion to reality. Sorry, what? Why?
