Knee something Doc thought it was probably just soft tissue on a first pass and x-rays didn't pick up anything but that was a month ago, he thought an outside chance of something patellar maybe Gotta follow up

Doesn't seem to activate except for when I slightly hyperextend or when I go parallel on squats

Widen your stance and see if it still hurts (wide stance -> reduced shear force)

If it isn't serious and just hurts, you could try reverse lunges and Bulgarian split squats for a while. They usually don't trigger any pain for me (don't do regular lunges though, they can trigger the same pain as squats)
