I am somewhere between 0% and 100% serious (inclusive) but if I were serious the claim would be, yes, the universe is (in some relevant sense) discrete, but granular enough that it appears continuous most of the time

the thing you are trying to do suggests you haven't thought about this very long you can say "oh, the largest natural is X? but what about S(X)" but that doesn't demonstrate that S(X) "exists"
