I think it would be interesting to see a book of anonymous, high-level women in these industries sharing their perspectives on what some of the key challenges and exit points are. would you guess women are better-represented in STEM in developing countries with conservative gender mores (eg, Pakistan) or in rich countries with long-standing and aggressively-feminist social views and policies?

I think women are most successful at building STEM careers when 1) men accept them as a group member and 2) they are primarily financially motivated and it’s their best option to capitalize on their unique traits (intelligence in the case of STEM)
