Yes, because countries with their own national interests would certainly engage in radical transparency, telling the American people the unvarnished truth, and not spin information for their own benefit or just outright inject falsehoods. This take is nuclear-grade stupid.

unironically this for the same reason you get a better perspective on what 'important news' is in the US by reading UK papers. They don't waste time with 90% of the partisan trivialities US media do.
