It's a Kershaw Leek. It fits nicely in my hand, seems to stay pretty sharp, opens so smoothly, has a nice weight...it's just a sensory delight Perfect size imo for most of the little things pocketknives are convenient for
And unlike my (very nice!) Benchmades, it doesn't have a very aggressive look - some people are alarmed when you whip out a knife to open a package or something, especially with the more intimidating-looking ones that snap open
I lost my last Leek in a tragicomic accident: I was using the restroom at work, and the knife was in my pocket I pulled my jeans up and flushed the toilet in a single fluid motion with enough force, apparently, to fling the knife out of my pocket and down the toilet
It happened fast enough that I had no way to retrieve it. I just stood there for a good thirty seconds, stunned by the absurdity of the situation. been grieving the loss of that little knife ever since
I haven't quite had room in my budget to replace it til now - could've made room earlier tbh, but other things always took precedence
anyways I love this knife, I will shill for this knife, you should buy this knife https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I6OWKSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GDS-CbP086QST …
They also sell some very pretty Damascus blades I've been eyeing, but they're about twice the cost and the only reason I want Damascus knives is because they're pretty maybe someday I will purchase one anyways or ask for it for a gift
