    eigenrobot Retweeted MFA Russia  🇷🇺

in the spirit of the source tweet, more soldiers were killed on the Ostfront than fought on the western front which to me mostly suggests Russians are bad at fighting warshttps://twitter.com/mfa_russia/status/1136256630021087233 …

#Zakharova: The Normandy landings were not a game-changer for the outcome of WWII and the Great Patriotic War. The outcome was determined by the Red Army’s victories – mainly, in Stalingrad and Kursk. For three years, the UK and then the US dragged out opening the second front pic.twitter.com/LhzkEzNCQN

You gotta be on at least 5 or 6 layers of Kremlin Narrative to think that opening up an another front was not signifigant at all in WWII lolll

Russia started the war with the worst tanks and while taking the most casualties developed an industrial supply chain good enough to have the best tanks by wars end that's incredible

Skills develop to the extent they are needed. Invading Russia has always been a great way to lose an otherwise viable army. The Russians themselves joked about "General Winter and General Snow" being better than any of their generals.

Russians are bad at fighting wars effectively. They are great at throwing people into meatgrinders until the enemy can't take it any more.
