I'm going to take this as serious and give you a real answer. It is an article ostensibly about how he grew up without much money, how he acquired money, and his policy positions. 1. The article does provide context that his wealth isn't unusual for his position. 1/x

2. If you don't know how antisemitic stereotypes are used, you might be confused why it was summarized as "Bernie is cheap but wealthy" 3. How often do you see reports on whether a presidential candidate is stingy/thrifty/careful/cheap? How would you expect it to be framed? 2/x

4. In an article, summarized within itself as him gaining wealth in a fairly typical manner, their graphics are him covered in houses, and him standing next to a money tree. 3/x

5. Whether you believe that Politico, in their heart of hearts is antisemitic, you should listen to Jews who are saying that it, at the very least, plays into tropes about Jews and money. "Jews are cheap, Jews are rich" is a very common trope definitely at play here. 4/4

I was asking seriously! Amusingly at least one Jewish person (a rabbi!) responded that he didn't see antisemitism here which I guess just brings us back to the "two Jews, three opinions" quip

I had seen a lot of responses that treated your question as rhetorical. So, I wanted to clarify that I wanted to treat it seriously. Thank you for asking and reading my response!
