I'll actually disagree with y'all here. *IF* you want something badly enough and you are calculated in your approach, you can individually make an impact. The real issue is most people don't actually care enough to make the impact they claim to want. They want someone else to.

I think a “punctuated equilibrium” approach is more accurate really, there’s evidence even recently for action making a difference, at least temporarily: Keystone XL; getting AOC to the national stage; EFF, DP and FFTF on Net Neutrality

if anything, it’s undeniable that A Few Certain People really can make a difference, but it’s all the rich people and like Mitch McConnell - it took very few people at all to roll back on NN, Keystone, etc
