Bull markets lasting 4 years or recessions every 8 years or whatever seems a boring trope and doesn't work across countries, probably not ages either. More interesting IMO: Golden ages rarely last more than 200 years. When did ours start? What is breaking down?

first on the moon the internet statue of liberty wonder has some nice perks iirc minor Broadway and wall Street wonders

I think more seriously/additionally our contribution may have been grinding down the USSR as a global power and ushering in some Fourth Age but its a tolkeinesque victory not whole, with many things left undone, and many beautiful things lost that we will never see again
