How do 95% of Christians literally never talk about sex?

My experience might be idiosyncratic but Christians definitely talk about sex, there's just a lot of implicit and ill defined norms around when it's okay (exp: Southern Baptist, both parents PKs, some private school, taught Sunday school...)
-
I guess the point i was aiming at was there's no real discussion of sex, just of abstinence - would you agree?

Anyways yes very dependent on sect and region and how uptight your family is. But like, when my v. conservative grandma died we found a drawer full of sex toys and a Christian book on having satisfying marital relations

The community I was raised in was surprisingly diverse in terms of sects and the areas people came from imo - Christians from a lot of different countries & a good mix of catholic, protestant, and eastern orthodox - going to a non-denominational church also worked to the same end
-
And though the framework for discussion differed heavily ofc based of denominational beliefs and cultural defaults - any discussion of sex was still pretty rare and centered on abstinence and shame, with a disproportionate amount of weight on females
