It makes exactly as much sense as supporting the wall with that vehemence. This isn't a deflection, I mean that seriously, if you think the wall makes sense for advocates because of the rhetoric staked on it, zero-sum opponents become just as interested in thwarting it.

I support literal open borders because bankrupting the welfare state seems like one of the more plausible ways to end USG. (Also cause of freedom of movement and other hippy dippy human rights shit oc).
