Hundreds of colleges are no longer requiring, or are deemphasizing, test scores for admission bc SAT/ACT scores only predict how well a student MAY perform during their first year of college. GPAs are frequently inflated.

Yep. And Harvard/Ivy League in gen. is NOTORIOUS for allowing boatloads of upper class kids in with suspect academic records, or with some kind of “background” that they want. 1270 is not a bad score.

It’s not all about SAT scores for like the 10,000th time. Most state schools in Pa require a solid extracurricular background now regardless of how good your SAT score is.
