My family, nuclear and extended, have been very good to and for me and I imagine this makes me biased toward families as a mechanism for attaining good social outcomes

Been thinking about late 20C conservatism in the US (which incidentally I hated contemporarily) Crass bigotry (like eg against gay rights) was there for sure But I wonder if the talk about concern for Family Values was legit and they just alit upon . . .
