I don't know; what age do you think they'll start sparing their targets at?

so how do you determine which actions deserve shooting? you're going to need to do that very quickly, before they have a chance to run or shoot back
-
no actions Deserve shooting sometimes shooting is the best option available this is quite rare and defaulting to shooting is dumb and lazy
-
i am not sure i believe contention #2. but i am sure that if it's true, one should do everything possible to avoid it.
-
if one ends up at 2 its usually the result of a series of other dumb or lazy and typically evil decisions somewhere along the way I think Idk hot takes going on here

Arguably true, but also entirely academic because the only way you can even learn about someone's beliefs is via their actions.
-
stated beliefs vs revealed preference nearly all political """beliefs""" are the former
-
Does this apply to, say, stating your beliefs about how Tutsis are cockroaches or parasites or whatever in the town square? How about over the radio?
-
a lot we can learn from that about how to intercede before it gets to machetes.
-
I think one of the lessons is that it's not really possible to draw a bright line between speech acts/statements of belief and actions

This is more or less what I believe. Punish ppl for things, they do, not what they think.
