my greatest weakness is my apparent inability to do things that are simultaneously (i) uninteresting to me, (ii) useless to anyone, and (iii) unpleasant wonder if (iii) is the easiest point to hack

in this case, badly written homework assignment for application for a job i am unlikely to accept because of competing offers but i cant just cancel it because some old, close irl friends referred me two months ago and i dont want to make them look bad

but idk all this homework for job shit seems like unloading work on the applicants, but it seems even worse if it's completely useless work.

still though, it's shitty to get people to do a job that people in the company should be doing, hire you then set the real task. i mean it all seems to come out of the whiteboarding stuff wonder how long before they make everyone work 1 year in the job before they pay them
