i think this is completely ordinary actually i dont understand the few people who seem to manage it
-
citation please
-
see that right there hits (i) - (iii)
-
if we're to pursue this inquiry in earnest maybe it would help to have an example)s) of something that hits all three as sort of a baseline case
-
but also "cite xxxxx" in nearly all cases academic or Online no one is going to read the thing, it will change no ones mind, its a pain in the ass, and its boring to me too see also: "publish your results"
-
I actually just followed a citation chain two citations back recently while studying amphetamines.

what's an example?

in this case, badly written homework assignment for application for a job i am unlikely to accept because of competing offers but i cant just cancel it because some old, close irl friends referred me two months ago and i dont want to make them look bad
-
hmm *jbp voice* do ur homework bucko
-
but idk all this homework for job shit seems like unloading work on the applicants, but it seems even worse if it's completely useless work.
-
ive done one i really enjoyed and i killed that one, and they actually used my methods to improve a thing youve heard of if youre in the us this this is not that kind of assignment probably product here is a Presentation for an ill-defined fake audience
-
yeah but did you get paid for it (either one-off or get the job) because that's just shitty practice that kinda stuff is shit why dont they just fucking stop
-
i got a related job at the same firm in that case, close enough sort of wish i hadnt in the end oh well
-
still though, it's shitty to get people to do a job that people in the company should be doing, hire you then set the real task. i mean it all seems to come out of the whiteboarding stuff wonder how long before they make everyone work 1 year in the job before they pay them
