theres nothing wicked about models that dont do this, however they tend to lend themselves to making stories which are ripe for social abuse

related: the more difficult some knowledge is to prove, (generally) the less useful it is. e.g. QM is easy to prove because a billion machines prove that it works every second.

I think this is somewhat circular. QM enabled us to build those machines in the first place

so retrospectively it is "easy" to prove but that doesn't mean that it was trivial or easy at all before it was known
