I think that exposing corruption is always desirable but I agree that the idea of "proving" that gender studies is corrupt is fraught with logical problems to the point where it very well not may be possible at all.

It's not much harder to prove any individual Gender Studies researcher is corrupt than it is to prove any individual Particle Physics researcher is corrupt. It's way harder to prove that Gender Studies is corrupt than it is to prove that Particle Physics is corrupt.

However, for the same reason, it's way easier to show that Particle Physics is NOT corrupt than it is to show that Gender Studies is not corrupt.
