I don't have strong opinions about the policies in question generally however people can reasonably disagree in good faith about the likelihood of different outcomes of a policy or its absence or alternatives this seems uncontroversial

even agreeing on probabilities they can disagree about the value of different outcomes without being monsters people have different social aesthetics perhaps you disagree, in which case good luck in your effort to subjugate everyone who doesnt share your precise taste in mores

why you gotta drag me to the object level I'm not trying to suggest a moral value for any specific policy, if I had to settle on a position it would prolly be ~yours rather, highlighting the implication of "we have different values, quite generally we cannot agree to disagree"
