think I broke shadowrun 5e with this unkillable character pixie mage with 8 edge, 8 agi, some choice sustaining foci and a monowhip ends up with something like 35 dice to avoid melee, 50 to avoid range, also 30+ armor, walk-flies at 24m, etc etc etc and thats before summoning

AND YET no one objected when I played through a pathfinder campaign with this guy, voice and [friendly Babycakes] personality and all, in fact they thought it was the greatest thing that had ever hit the table so what gives, basically the same is this just size discriminationpic.twitter.com/U3HgYSptsz

somewhere there's a pathfinder(?) min/max thread where someone describes getting their (gnome's?) escape artist to the point that they could, mechanically, sneak and squeeze inside of medium-sized NPCs before exploding through their intestinal wall

its only DC40 to fit in a 2" space as a halfling , i dont think they had any intention of making epic rules make sense

This sounds like those threads where people combine three or four of the weirder prestige classes to create a character whose attack method was to rip his own head off and throw it at you for 6d20 damage

I used to think those were dumb but now I love them possibly not for actual game use (???) but at least as a form of play, and possibly as an Art taking a set of rules and exploring how far it can be stretched, in good spirit

I love gnomes except for their LoS. All my Ally casters are gnomes and none of them can see over tiny inclines.

oh crap that had never occurred to me wrecks enemy LOS too I guess (I hope?) too bad about targeting in this game, the goldeneye oddjob effect would be powerful here
