i like how the libertarian argument is always: things are bad, so why not make things even worse.

places where public provision is terrible, security is privatized and provided for with high levels of satisfaction for the rich, while the poor are ruled by authoritarian war lords. bu hey, i guess things are already bad so why not go more in that direction.
