it's about 35 minutes of not terrible movie spliced into an additional 110 minutes of terrible movie

this is a criminally bad take on a film that is Literally Neck and Neck with Empire for best one

The Last Jedi is filled with plot holes big enough to fly the Millennium Falcon through. It fundamentally mischaracterizes Luke Skywalker. It is a shockingly fascistic and nihilistic movie that elevates the use of brute force power as a source of authority.

It also sucked all the promising charisma out of the best character from The Force Awakens (Finn).

plot holes and writing acknowleged the main problem with the new movies is the dearth of charisma i just dont like any of these characters and dont really care either way whatever shit theyre on about honesty didnt even watch TLJ, left TFA and shrugged and never looked back

there are literally no plot holes in TLJ, declining to have 15 minutes of expository dialogue isn't a 'plot hole' no matter how much people want irrelevant backstory on Snoke

speaking of Snoke, how come that Dark Lord of the Sith, master manipulator and corruptor of Kylo Ren, was able to be felled by a simple lapse of attention to the lightsaber he had resting on his end-table?

But WAS he even a Dark Lord of the Sith though? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ No one knows.

i read them twenty plus years ago but it seems like the reasonable thing to do would be to turn the thrawn books into movies im not the first one to make this point anyway its just total fucking nonsense

Yeah, they were so much better. Actors got too old though. I bet in 20 or 30 years when CGI has advanced enough to bridge the uncanny valley on human faces, they'll finally do it.

If they'd done the thrawn trilogy as movies instead of the prequels then Trump would've never happened
