Post 4 general stance: "there are lots of ways to live and they may be selected at will" 4.5: . . . so none of them have meaning 5.0: . . . so meaning is where you choose to assign it intellectually embrace 5.0 but practically or anhedonically seem to be stuck at 4.5

I don't know, I'm not sure you internalized that there was all that much meaning in a single system to begin with.

Hmm I think maybe I used to get by on low-key secret narcissism and maybe I don't get much value from that anymore? And I used to be into Learning, I was super into knowing everything Not sure what happened there

Neither of those are Systems Of Meaning really... Reread things that aren't just Chapman's breakdown of it.https://medium.com/@NataliMorad/how-to-be-an-adult-kegans-theory-of-adult-development-d63f4311b553 …

Hm I think they are "Where does one find motivation" "What is the implicit animating narrative" Possibly this is functional meaning vs abstract?

I'm just saying, if a single blog post by one Buddhist, no matter how insightful, can unearth existential angst, I'm willing to ask if you do in fact have a Stage 4 card. There's a qualitatively difference between "stuck behind the Veil of Paroketh" and "lost in the Abyss."

qualitative, damn.
