No mention of Sarah Jeong’s demented tweets on her Wikipedia page. Why? A little group of activist editors won’t allow it. Amazing. See them in action here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Sarah_Jeong … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Jeong …

Per
@AuerbachKeller this kind of thing has been commonplace on Wikipedia for ages -
Wikipedia has been a trash fire for years but reverting the jeong tweets as non notable is completely correct, since there's literally nothing wrong with them
-
I think they're remarkably-in-the-literal-sense boring and distasteful Soft bigotry of low expectations, but for dunking on white people
-
lowgrade tasteless, but unremarkable in the general background tastelessness level imo, also broadly accurate in the same way "men are trash" comments are

De gustibus!

From day one, Wikipedia has been able to be altered and edited by anyone. Nothing’s password protected. It was never a credible source.

I always thought that the collaborative effort of Wikipedia was such that the end result was honest. It's not. Wikipedia allows anyone with online skills to shape the narrative about any subject just by creating a criticism on the contributions of others. They're cyberbullies!

Everyone has their own opinion, I think it was a great idea to start out with but never fulfilled the idea behind it's initial creation.
