So it is kinda silly for right-wingers to model their in-corporations like colleges behind the scenes while condemning left-wing companies and newspapers for becoming more explicitly like sanctuary colleges for political ideologues.

Hm! This seems likely true but I don't have a clear example in mind--any case studies?

I sort of abductively concluded this claim tentatively about cult of personality institutions like Alex Jones. I thought his inner circle to be a profit sharing network with folks like Prison Planet and how they would seemingly post/syndicate news regularly with Breitbart.
-
This could just be FUD or bigotry on my part. At the same time, sometimes I agree with them on various particular interpretations of things. But I'm certain Alex Jones sells health products in parallel with his fringe news, and his finances others who are willing to advert work.
-
To be fair, I don't necessarily disagree with any of the profit sharing schemes. But to the extent that they cast oversimplifying analysis of black-white relations, I become unfavorably critical.
-
Yeah, ok I feel you. Heh--Alex Jones et al are my fargroup, I have so little contact with their fandom they may as well be Ruritanian. But yeah they don't seem healthful -_-
