eh, maybe it's more okay when people are focused. this was like a 'code club' that people sent their kids to so they ended up just playing games and ofc there's no punishment mechanism there since it was a free library service

The trick with teaching is just to get a higher-class school but not higher-class enough to where you get people like rms.

I'm not even joking there really; all the top schools have majority people you'd hate to teach. MIT has rms-types, Stanford has Altman-types, Duke has trust-fund kids, etc. Harvard's like the only top-ten that's not insanely off in the States, judging by their alumni.
