It's funny that people say stuff like this when no one ever bothered the (many) preachers and pamphleteers at my school, even though it was a hugely fagmotastic campus coastal liberal campus. I mean, I was there. And all the god-botherers were clearly bankrolled, not ill.

People clapped because they were overdue for a telling-off. The god-botherers said their actions were sanctified because mumblemumble concourse, which seemed rules lawyery, but I didn't press. Most god-botherers were quiet. I'd hear theological debates, but restrained ones.

Much worse were the many missionaries who devised clever tricks to waste my time. They'd bait folks out with that "post something wrong to get corrections" tactic and then praise people's wit, or single them out and offer friendship, 1-5 minutes later, NOPE IT WAS ABOUT GOD!!!

Worst part, it had to do with this social media campaign and... It's awful to do that, to people likely getting their first taste of independence, to show that someone trying to be friendly with you is probably there to use you for an advertising campaign?

I also walked past some actual in the street and yes sometimes in rags street preachers, but I got urged more often to "TURN TO CHRIST!" on one of the blue-as-Bill-Clinton's-balls college campuses everyone's so worried about. but then, I'd also share with the buskers, hobos, &c

I once had a really nice conversation about agape with a homeless gentleman at 3am walking down 3d Ave in Belltown back in the old days when belltown was Scary
