Should I explain the joke?

if you think it wouldn't ruin it!

Right, so originally I was going to use Quetzalcoatl / Xipe Totec / Tezcatlipoca. Quetzalcoatl is a god of crafts and knowledge, representing accumulation of capital by human effort. Xipe Totec is a god of agriculture, disease, and seasons - in general, death and rebirth.
-
Tezcatlipoca is a god of the night sky, hurricanes, the earth, and strife - taken broadly: natural forces. Anyway, the joke is that I replaced Tezcatlipoca with a second anime Quetzalcoatl to represent the artificiality of the modern world.
