I have mixed feelings. I think rule of law is useful to the US, but also that some laws will never change without civil disobedience, greed-motivated or otherwise

Then the Uber and Lyft drivers should start picking up at arrivals.

So once again, it’s tech's fault, because they want something but they aren’t willing to pay for it so they make everybody else’s life just that much more unpleasant to enrich a few ground-floor lottery winners.

I am serious. This kind of thing infuriates me. Uber and Lyft want to do civil disobedience? Send the drivers to the Arrivals level & pay their tickets for them. Big Taxi preventing change? Cancel Travis's sexual harassment policy & use the twenty mil to hire a few lobbyists.

These people have pulled hundreds of billions of dollars out of the economy for their blue-sky nonsense, they treat people like slaves, they practically IMPORT *actual* slaves, and they WON'T. PAY. FOR. ANYTHING. Screw them.

I feel sorry for the drivers but I feel sorry for the actual actual slaves who had to fend for themselves after the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment too, that doesn’t mean I think sharecropping and Jim Crow were Disruptive Innovation.

It *is* good sometimes. Other times not so much. A dilemma as old as laws.
