Isn't that kind of inherent? People who genuinely believe they're superior don't consider themselves prejudiced against the people they look down on. They think they're basing their position on reality. That they're genuinely better and more important. That's the problem.

In this particular case, it may not matter--even if he fully realizes his views would be considered racist, he still could not publicly acknowledge that or he would ruin his political career.
