    So, school choice is good for the schools we like--but good luck picking a school OTHER people don't like.

    WHAT IS THE CASE - I would love to hear it. The students have been saying that they did not pick the other programs for a V A R I E T Y of reasons and there is ZERO alternative for the middle school students. So... What exactly did you hear that was different?

    So if I’m understanding caucus procedure correctly (I’m not) it’s basically being trapped in a room doing an icebreaker from a corporate retreat all day.

    Thank you to and for joining the champions team! It’s unconscionable that we would do this to kids who are fighting so hard to save their school. please vote to save this school.

    If you live in Ward 3 give a quick shout and encourage her to join with White in supporting DC schools and students who need it most. If you’re anywhere in DC sound off as well. Let the Council know now Thanks for your leadership

    I didn’t get into the satellite caucus here in dc tonight but got to talk to some people leaving and it was so cool! People on work trips, who go to school here, and are here for all sorts of reasons-so many they needed a bigger room!

    Heard this tonight from Liz Davis. This isn’t the treatment Banneker students got.

    Washington Met students & teachers planned to hold a presser at the Wilson Building tomorrow AM to advocate for the bill when it’s introduced. Per WTU, the event is now cancelled because the school admin refused to grant permission for field trips.

    There were 100 eligible Iowa caucus goers in DC. On 1st round, had 40, had 18, had 15. missed viability w 14, had 11, and had 2. Looks like there might be alliance between yang gang & bernie!

    I’d say at least a quart of the cases I had in nyc involved a parent trying to get an adult child get back on their feet and then the landlord or nycha coming in and trying to get them out for overcrowding or some other bs.

    All these articles about millennial home-owners where the publications think the message is “if they can do it, so can you!” but when you read it, you realize these people have money because of their families (lived at home, parents “helped,” or parents got them lucrative jobs)
