i'm refactoring dialogue code and fixing the screen to be resizable without screwing up the size of the camera. it's very exciting. also i'm not done yet surprise

making good progress! none of it is visible really but oh well. i realize i oughta do some serious retooling of the map, which is awful because i've already put so much effort into cramming complex puzzles into tiny spaces...

thinking about how to deal with environmental area-of-effect stuff (like water, but, generalized) without adding a whole /set/ of "stuff i'm currently in" to every single actor... but it would only be mobile actors who are already heavy so maybe that's ok

turns out my uncapped fps more than triples if i just don't draw things that aren't onscreen! (i used to have this specifically for anise game but accidentally broke it with a refactor a week ago)

i'm mildly bothered that my approach to this will break down for actors more than twice the size of the screen, or who draw stuff very far away from their ostensible position, but those are probably acceptable edge cases
